Hi, I’m Asif Rasheed, a photographer based in Kochi.

I wasn’t always doing this. I studied engineering, finished my M.Tech from IIT Guwahati, and worked for a few years in the R&D wing of Bharat Electronics. It was a stable, respectable job — but over time, I started to feel disconnected.

What began as a hobby — taking photos while travelling or spending time with people — started to feel more fulfilling than what I did from 9 to 5. I wasn’t chasing a dream. I was just following something that felt right.

Now, I focus on portraits, weddings, travel stories, and drone visuals. My approach is simple: I try to make people feel comfortable and seen — and let the camera do the rest.
